First of all, before getting to the blogging part it is essential to understand what a digital nomad is. The term itself has gained some popularity recently and you might have heard of it. By definition, a digital nomad is a person that makes a living remotely while traveling adventurously but not settling in one place, as a digital nomad I enjoy diversity in people and changing landscapes, being one is a lifestyle.
The term “digital nomad” digital refers to working remotely and dependent on technology while a nomad is a person who travels from place to place without the goal of finding a place to settle.
The digital nomad community has diversified and expanded a lot in the recent past and many people are taking up this bizarre yet adventurous lifestyle. I personally feel it is very fulfilling.
Making a living as a digital nomad
The main component of a digital nomad’s work is doing it all remotely. Most of the work is freelance like online tutoring, online sales and purchase, social media managing, freelance writing, web development, and blogging.
This type of work gives you a lot more freedom of time as to when you will work and not being confined to any office space so it does make sense for us digital nomads to be traveling. All that is required is a laptop and a good internet connection.
Why start a digital nomad blog?
The main motive for starting a digital nomad blog would be to make money by sharing your nomadic experiences which would add to the freelance work you are taking up as a digital nomad. Once you have enough travel experience then blogging is a great way to share your unique endeavors with the rest of the world and if you think like me it is also your mark on the internet and a little diary of your wonderful experiences.
